I've been gone from IJ for a while. I just don't have a lot of time lately. I came after the big scare over at LJ and followed a lot of people to here. I don't draw, write, make witty observations, and I rarely even mention the whole reason I came to livejournaling. Harry Potter and the fabulous actor who plays Ronald Bilius Weasley, Rupert Grint. But I hope to do more soon. I'll have to check my user information, but I don't think I have but two "friends" who aren't actually a community. LOL 

Anyway, I've had a few health issues since last Spring. My knee was hurting me and I got injections and went to physical therapy for it. *WASTE OF TIME AND ESP MONEY* Next time my knee hurts I'll wait until the pain is unbearable or it's unusable before going to a doctor about it. Then my mom began having issues with her breathing and went into the hospital twice. Then I had laproscopy and experienced a headache over insurance. I also began having bowel issues right after the surgery. I didn't poop for two weeks! Since then I've had a colonoscopy and all is fine apparently. Just a slow moving bowel. But man was I hurting for a week. Did the laproscropy hoping they find something that could be fixed and maybe I can get pregnant. They did find a couple of things, but so far not pregnant. I totally suck. Meanwhile we discovered mom has cervical cancer and it's pretty bad. It's spread into her bladder. I'm having to deal with her ALOT more now and take her for radiation 5x a week and she does chemotherapy once a week. I just pick her up on chemo days after work. But it's been exhausting. Work has gotten harder to do and with a new boss it's been a learning experience. Not been great. My cat that I had for 15 years died at the first of June. Then my husband's grandparents died within a week of each other. They were divorced and hadn't seen each other since the divorce back in the 60's, yet they both got sick at the same time. They both entered nursing homes at the same time. And then died at the same time. Weird. Luckily hubby nor his father whose parents had died really cared for them, so despite being a hassle no long term sadness. The cat on the other hand was and still has been hard to deal with. Well that's the abbreviated version of my life since my last post here. Later for now. Peace.

Well we just got lucky. Storms came through our town and despite heavy gusts some even reported to be 80 mph and large hail not much damage. Portions of the town and the surrounding area lost power, had portion of one of our schools blown off, and a barn torn 30 ft. off from it's base. Apparently some of my neighborhood and others have lost power, but I didn't. The most damage that I know we personally endured is a broken large tree limb. **breaths a sigh of relief**

I was watching the reruns of this season's Project Runway when it dawned on me why contestant, Christian, looked familiar to me. Click on the link to see where I've seen him before.
